Pathways to Change: Strong Fathers

Strong Fathers recognizes that participants' behavior in relationships is heavily influenced by their past, particularly the experiences they had when they were children. Sessions help fathers explore their childhoods, learn about child development and the importance of safety in the home, and practice new ways of partnering and parenting that can stop the cycle of violence for their children and for generations to come.

Fathers Forever

Fathers Forever’s purpose is to decrease the number of children being raised without the support of their fathers, and decrease the number of non-child support cases in our court system. We help to facilitate and restore the relationships between the fathers and their children in three ways: Healing, Empowering, and Restoring Men."

Fathers on the Move Inc.

Fathers on the Move is an innovative program that provides transitional services to males over the age of 16 who are involved in the criminal justice system and have children. Our program is also open to all males needing support, guidance and mentorship. We provide services to voluntary clients as well as those who are court ordered to attend. We are a non-profit organization and do not charge clients for program participation.

The Family Place of Transylvania County

Dads in Action: A men's group that meets on Mondays except for the last Monday of the month to discuss the challenges and joys of being a Dad and for dads and children to have an interactive playtime! These activities may include bowling, swimming, special speakers, etc.
